What are AI credits?

AI credits are our way of measuring and allocating app usage. AI credits are being used to generate the visuals, with approximately 1 credit charged per word selected for generation. This may change in the future for more complex outputs or advanced features.

Is there a discount on annual billing?

Yes! You can save 25% by choosing an annual plan compared to a monthly plan.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards across the world.

Can I create my own company-branded style in Napkin?

Yes, you can easily create custom styles using your brand colors, fonts, etc. inside Napkin using our style builder.

How does Napkin use my data?

We follow standard data protection practices to keep your data encrypted and private. Napkin will not use your data to train our models if you opt out of data sharing.

Any information used to power Napkin will be shared with AI subprocessors for the sole purpose of providing you with the Napkin functionalities. We specifically have contractual agreements in place with our AI subprocessors that prohibit the use of customer data to train their models.

How do I get charged when adding a member to my teamspace?

You can add as many members to your teamspace as you'd like. If you are on a paid plan, you will be charged for an additional seat for each member who accepts the invitation.

Can I change my plan or cancel at any time?

Absolutely! You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time. If you cancel, you'll retain access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period. After that, you will no longer have access to paid features.

What happens when I change plans?

  • Upgrading your plan: Your account will be upgraded and charged immediately. The amount due will be prorated based on the remaining days in your current billing cycle at the time of the upgrade.
  • Downgrading your plan: Your account will be downgraded at the end of your current billing cycle, and you'll be charged for the new plan starting with the next billing cycle. All content you created with your higher plan will remain accessible, but editing features may be restricted.

What happens to my content if I cancel my subscription?

Your content remains yours, regardless of your subscription status. If you cancel your subscription, you'll retain access to all your created content, but you won't have access to the advanced features that are part of paid plans.

Can I change my payment method?

You can change your payment method at any time in your billing settings.

What happens if my payment fails? Like if my credit card expires?

You'll receive email notifications after each failed payment. We'll retry payment up to 8 times over the next month. If payment still fails after all retries, you'll be moved to the free plan with limited feature access until you update your payment information.

What happens if I exhaust my AI credits?

The easiest way to get more credits is to upgrade to our Plus or Pro plan, both of which offer higher monthly credit limits to better suit your needs. If you use up your credits, you can also purchase additional credits at any time.

Do you offer discounts to Non-Profits or Students?

We don't currently offer discounts to non-profits or students. However, our free plan is designed to accommodate most lightweight usage of Napkin.
